Dubstep Laser Gun

In this project I will be creating the VFX for a ‘Dubstep Laser Gun’. I am doing this because I am currently working on a game for my team project module in my 3^rd year of university and I am the VFX artist. The game we are making is in the style of Ratchet and Clank, so I am making the VFX accordingly to fit this style. They are deliberately fairly basic with a cartoon like aesthetic, however they are all very unique in their appearance and use. The ‘Dubstep Laser Gun’ gun is going to be a more detailed weapon firing animation made in the same cartoon like art style of the current game I am working on. The weapon VFX I am making for my game are fit for purpose and look good, however due to the nature of the game they lack complexity. The ‘Dubstep Laser Gun’s’ complexity is ideally how the VFX in my game would be if I had a longer period of time to work on each one and I had more personal creative freedom in the game creation.
